Domains get bought over the years by different people, at different registrars, on different credit cards, with renewal emails going to an inbox nobody has checked since its owner left. Everything works, silently, right up until one Tuesday the website and the email die together because a domain expired without a sound. Recovery is expensive when it is possible at all; sometimes the domain is sniped and simply gone.
Kolab Domains starts with a register: every domain, its registrar, its owner, its real cost, the card it renews on and what depends on it. On top of that sits an expiry radar that chases renewals on WhatsApp and email until someone acknowledges, and centralised DNS where every record carries a note saying what it is actually for, so a change for one system stops breaking another.
It is one product for two audiences: the business with three domains it must never lose, and the MSP or IT team holding many domains, for many clients, across many registrars. Domenn is in design; founding customers are wanted to shape what ships first, and nothing is charged before it does.
The register we wished we had
NexOps runs a fleet of dozens of its own and client domains and DNS zones every day, across several registrars. Domenn is that daily practice turned into a product: the register, the radar and the change log we kept wishing existed. It is in design now, and founding MSPs and IT teams are wanted.

.mu, first class
.mu domains sit alongside .com and the rest, with the local registry's own renewal and transfer quirks understood, not ignored.
When the registrant leaves
Plenty of businesses here have lost a domain because the person who registered it left. Ownership is recorded per domain, so departures hand over instead of orphaning.
Built for the agency economy
Mauritius runs on agencies and MSPs holding domains for their clients. Client folders and white-label reports treat that as the main case, not an afterthought.
