Kolab Trade · Artizan In build
From WhatsApp enquiry to signed handover
Kolab Trade turns the phone in your pocket into the office: enquiry to survey, quote to install, handover to invoice. Built for electricians, plumbers, aircon installers, solar fitters and the workshops that make and fix.
- Job cards born from a WhatsApp message
- Quotes in rupees, from your own price book
- The week's jobs planned on the island map
- Handover photos and a client signature on every job
Made for
The artisan's office is a phone
A Mauritian artisan does not have a back office. The jobs live in WhatsApp threads, the measurements in a notebook, the quote gets typed at the kitchen table at 21:00, and the deposit is remembered or it is not. Good work, held together by memory.
Artizan accepts that the phone is the office and makes the phone enough. An enquiry becomes a job card. The site survey captures photos and measurements. The quote builds itself from your price book, in rupees, with the materials list attached. The week lands on a map, the install gets its checklist, and the handover ends with photos and a signature instead of a shrug.
Then the part most tools forget: the aftermath. Warranties registered, service reminders that bring the aircon client back every six months, deposits and balances chased by the app instead of by you. The repeat work is where a small trade business becomes a solid one.
Built on the installer job-card brick
Artizan is in build, and its spine already works: the installer job-card brick runs survey to quote to install checklist to handover photos today.
- Survey, quote, install checklist and handover photos: the job-card brick is built and working
- Week planning on the island map reuses the built route-app brick
- Price-book quoting reuses the tailor orderbook pattern: a small shop's numbers, remembered

A closer look
How Kolab Trade feels day to day
A WhatsApp message becomes a job card
Clients already write to you on WhatsApp, so Artizan starts there. The enquiry, the photos and the address land on a new job card, and your reply books the survey. Nothing gets lost in the scroll.
- Enquiries never sink under family group messages again
- Photos from the client attach straight to the job
- One tap books the survey and confirms it back
Price-book quotes in minutes, not evenings
Your materials, your rates, your margins live in the price book. A quote assembles from the survey in minutes, in rupees, with the deposit line built in, and goes to the client as a clean document with a link to accept.
- Materials list doubles as the shopping list
- Deposits requested with the quote, not remembered after
- Prices updated once, correct on every future quote
Plan the week on the island map
Jobs land on a map of Mauritius, and you drag the week into an order that respects geography and the Port Louis traffic. The van drives less, the day fits one more job, and clients get honest arrival windows.
- Group jobs by region, stop criss-crossing the island
- Each stop carries the job card, no paper in the van
- Running late? The next client hears it on WhatsApp
Warranty and servicing become revenue
Every install registers the equipment, its warranty and its service interval. When the six months come round, Artizan reminds the client for you, and a booked service appears in your week. The install book quietly becomes a client book.
- Service reminders go out by WhatsApp, in the client's language
- Equipment history makes the second visit faster than the first
- A full service round is a day of work you did not chase
Local by design
Made for trades on this island
The climate, the geography and the way Mauritians actually book an artisan are all in the product, not bolted on.
Post-cyclone triage
After a cyclone the phone does not stop: tarps, pumps, generators. A triage board sorts urgent from can-wait and keeps your promises honest.
The six-month service
Aircon in this climate needs servicing twice a year. Reminders go out on time, and the service book becomes your steadiest income.
Deposits in rupees
Deposit and balance tracked per job, payable by bank transfer, Juice or my.t money, receipted properly.
Clients live on WhatsApp
Enquiries in, confirmations out, arrival notices, service reminders: the whole conversation on the channel Mauritius reads.
Kreol chat, French quote
Chat with the client in Kreol, send the quote in French or English. Everyone reads what they are comfortable reading.
Island-sized routing
The week planner thinks in regions, because a Grand Baie morning and a Souillac afternoon is a day lost on the motorway.
Boost for small crews
Kolab Boost gives a two-van team the same recognition a big firm gets, with points for the habits that build a reputation.
First-time-right installs
Jobs with no callback within 30 days earn points for the crew that did them.
Photo-complete jobs
Every job closed with before and after photos and a signature earns its points, because proof protects everyone.
On-time arrivals
Arriving inside the promised window builds a streak, and a reputation that wins the next referral.
In the wild
What it looks like in real businesses
Every install registers its service interval. Six months later the reminders go out, the calendar fills with service visits, and the quiet months stop being quiet.
Quotes that took the evening now take fifteen minutes from the survey photos, and the deposit request goes out with the quote instead of after the awkward call.
Survey measurements go straight to the workshop job card, and handover photos with a signature ended the "it was scratched at delivery" conversations.
